			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Having just read Monica&#8217;s post on her <a href="http://www.thewritersmanifesto.com/blog/2009/02/21/the-best-way-to-anchor-correctly/">freelance writing</a> blog, I realise that I always use the wrong anchor text without even knowing what I&#8217;d done. So when I wrote about <a href="http://thewritersmanifesto&gt;com">moleskins</a> and linked to Monica it didn&#8217;t do her any good because Google wouldn&#8217;t recognise the anchor text as belonging to her site. I did the same thing with Grizzly, when writing about <a href="http://makemoneyonlineforbeginners.blogspot.com">Adsense tips</a> and with Sharon when recommending her <a href="http://getpaidtowriteonline.com">writing mentoring blog</a></p>
<p>Just in case you may have been linking with the first thing that came into your mind, such as a person&#8217;s name, what you should be doing is making sure that the link is relevant to the keywords on their site.I am determined that in future my backlinks will count. I won&#8217;t let my links go down the sink when I am writing about my online friends and mentors.</p>
